Our Story

Our history starts in 2003. The roots of the company were created as a small sawmill and a timber-product import and export business.

The company started to produce high-quality stair spindles and stair components, exported mainly to the United Kingdom.

We began selling laminated window scantlings for window manufacturers, with Germany as the main market.

Continuous growth and process optimisation within our manufacturing facilities, expanding our reach across European markets.

During the financial crisis, demand for our products collapsed. A timber customer asked whether we could build him a chalet in Switzerland made entirely of larch — walls, windows, terraces, railings, floors, doors and trims. We said yes. That is how our house business started: our first house, a mountain chalet, was built in Switzerland, produced, assembled and finished turn-key. Strong recommendations brought many repeat orders from the French market.

Expansion into the French market began, laying the groundwork for prefabricated timber-frame house exports.

A strong focus on sustainability and material efficiency while delivering complex timber structures across central Europe.

We reached roughly 20 prefabricated timber-frame houses exported to France annually — a key milestone in scaling the business.

We worked with an enthusiastic engineer-architect in Norway to supply one of the first passive, modern-style (FunkisHus) houses to the Norwegian market, with 500 mm wall insulation and 1000 mm roof insulation. The house won the "House of the Year" award for the city of Mo i Rana, and many orders followed in the years after.

Continued expansion in the Scandinavian market, delivering high-performance residential solutions to Norway and Sweden.

Scaling production to meet rising demand for twin houses and multi-storey timber buildings in Norway.

Annual exports reached 30 houses, consolidating our position as a reliable partner for prefabricated timber-frame buildings in the Norwegian market.

Word of our Norwegian houses spread to Sweden and we made our first export to the Swedish market, then grew rapidly there with private houses, town houses and apartment buildings all around Sweden.

We received our first large order from Denmark: the entire wooden facade of the famous Royal Arena in Copenhagen — 12 kilometres of unique wooden facade elements for the world-renowned architects 3XN.

Our house in Stockholm, "Modellvillan", received the Best New House of Stockholm 2017 award — a mix of old and modern architecture with cedar on the facade and roof.

Continued delivery of large-scale residential projects in major Swedish cities, refining our pre-assembly techniques.

Innovation in modular timber components allowed even faster on-site assembly for our northern clients.

We navigated global challenges by strengthening supply chains and focusing on high-quality residential products for existing clients.

Deepened engineering capabilities for high-performance buildings, preparing for market entry into the Netherlands.

Received our first orders from the Netherlands for private houses, apartment buildings and office buildings.

We developed our expertise in engineering, producing and assembling cross-laminated timber (CLT) structures. In Linköping, Sweden, we engineered, produced and assembled a seven-storey student apartment building with 112 apartments, which received the Best Student Housing Project of Sweden 2023 award.

Deliveries to Lithuania with A++ heat-efficiency standard, sharing our expertise and values with new customers.

Continued expansion of sustainable construction methods and perfecting modular systems for offshore projects.
